We are proud to be a non-smoking beachfront inn. No smoking is permitted anywhere on SBI grounds. If you smoke in your room, a $750 fine will be charged plus replacement of any affected furniture.
Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refund after that. Please be advised that all cancellations will require a 4% processing fee.
We do not make exceptions to our refund policy for any reason, including weather, illness, or other circumstance that interrupts your travel (whether it is within your control or not), and do not accept date changes. So, we always suggest that guests purchase travel insurance for their trip, just in case! This is particularly important from June-November, as weather events in the southeast are considered known travel risks and not eligible for an exception
When possible, we may be able to offer early check in or late check out. There is a $35 fee for each.
We ask that our guests please clean up after themselves and their visitors. Please wash your dishes and clean up any trash. If the room is found to need excessive cleaning after you check out the management may deem an additional fee depending upon the excessiveness.
All events, including weddings, parties, retreats, reunions, or any other gatherings, must receive prior approval from the Sunburst Inn. If an event is not approved in advance, the booking will be canceled without a refund. Additionally, if the event requires staff presence on-site, the booker will be charged an hourly rate for each staff member required.
